Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Mononym Digitial, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the mobile application LSAT WORDS (the “App”), including when downloaded from Google Play.

1. Snapshot

Google Play publishes app information describing data safety and collects certain information pursuant to Google’s policies. This policy supplements what you see in the Google Play listing and our in-app disclosures. If anything conflicts regarding our practices, disclosures required by regulators or clearer in-app/store notices control for users in those jurisdictions.

2. Categories of Information We Collect

Depending on your device, App settings, purchases, permissions, and how you interact with support, we may collect:

  • Account and identifiers: If you authenticate with Google Sign-In or create an internal account—user ID, email address tied to authentication, nickname or profile identifiers you chose.
  • Subscription and entitlement data: Purchase status, SKU or plan identifiers, renewal dates transmitted through Google Play Billing—not your full payment card details (payments are handled by Google).
  • App usage data: Features used, puzzles completed, timestamps, approximate session length, coarse progress statistics, diagnostics we log for performance.
  • Device data: Device model, OS version, app version, language/locale settings, coarse network type (Wi‑Fi/cellular).
  • Technical/diagnostic logs: Crash reports through tools such as Firebase Crashlytics/Android vitals equivalents, IP-derived region for abuse prevention limited to lawful logs, identifiers required for diagnostics.
  • Communication data: Emails or messages when you email info@mononymdigitial.com including metadata needed to reply.

We do not collect sensitive categories such as racial or ethnic origin, political beliefs, biometric templates, or precise location for advertising through the App unless future features require it and we provide separate notice—and only then as permitted by law.

Customization note: Update the paragraph above if your App collects additional data types.

3. Sources of Information

Information comes directly from you, automatically from devices using the App, from Google Play and Google Play billing systems, and optionally from processors we authorize (analytics, backend hosting).

4. How We Use Information

  • Provide, personalize, synchronize, maintain, debug, secure, improve, backup, restore, and analyze performance of the App.
  • Honor purchases, refunds, cancellations, entitlement checks, and parental controls compatibility.
  • Communicate transactional messages (billing receipts routed through Play), fraud prevention, and enforcement of our Terms.
  • Comply with law, valid legal process, and government requests processed in accordance with applicable law.
  • Where permitted—and if you opted in appropriately—marketing about our apps (not required for baseline App functioning).

We minimize data and retain it only while needed for disclosed purposes unless longer retention is legally required—for example taxation, transactional records—or legitimate security logs.

5. Legal Bases (EEA / UK / Similar Regions)

Where laws like GDPR or UK GDPR require a legal basis, we typically rely on (a) performance of a contract (providing the App), (b) legitimate interests—such as security and abuse prevention without overriding your rights—or (c) consent for optional analytics or email marketing where applicable. You may withdraw consent where processing was consent-based; some features may not work without certain processing.

6. Disclosure and Sharing

  • Service providers: Cloud hosting vendors, Firebase or alternative crash/logging providers, and similar processors under contract.
  • Payments: Google processes billing; governed by Google’s payment terms.
  • Authorities: When legally required, or to protect vital interests.
  • Business transitions: A merger or sale of assets—successor may process data as described in this policy, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. If a law defines certain sharing as a “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context advertising, we will describe any opt-out rights as required in that jurisdiction.

7. International Transfers

Servers or processors may be located outside your country of residence. Where required—such as for EEA, Swiss, or UK users—we use appropriate safeguards (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses) together with technical and organizational measures.

8. Retention

Retention depends on the purpose: aggregated analytics may be retained in pseudonymous form; transactional records may be retained for tax or legal compliance; diagnostic logs are typically retained for limited periods. You may request deletion where applicable by contacting info@mononymdigitial.com, subject to legal exceptions.

9. Security

We use measures such as encryption in transit (for example TLS), access controls, and dependency maintenance. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please keep your device and Google account protected.

10. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children whose personal information we cannot lawfully collect under applicable rules (including Google Play Families policies where they apply). If you believe we have collected personal information from a child inappropriately, contact us and we will take appropriate steps including deletion where required.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact info@mononymdigitial.com to exercise these rights. You can also manage some data through your device and Google account settings, and uninstall the App from Google Play.

U.S. state privacy: Where state laws apply, we provide the category disclosures above and do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

12. Marketing Communications

Optional marketing (for example push notifications or email) is sent only with appropriate consent or as permitted by law. You can opt out using in-app settings or unsubscribe links where provided.

13. Links and Third Parties

The App or site may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

14. Google Play and Google Services

Use of the App through Google Play is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. Our Google Play “Data safety” section should align with this policy; if there is a conflict for a specific data type, we will correct the listing or this policy as needed to stay accurate.

15. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice (for example in the App or on the Support page).
